DIVINE SPARK was founded by the late humanitarian, advocate and author Thomas Streicher and provides supportand guidance for people in-need without regard to gender, race, creed, age or calling to activate the divine spark within each of them. 

Thomas was tragically lost in an automobile accident on March 22, 2013 during the drive back from his 42nd visit delivering donations to the people on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

For more than 10 years, DIVINE SPARK has been serving the hundreds of homeless and hungry of Nevada City, CA weekly through offering Food Vouchers, allocation of donated Motor Vehicles & Bicycles, Pet Food & Veterinarian Care, Legal & Job Referral Help, Sunday community meals and more. 1250 miles away on Pine Ridge, the organizationdonates turkeys, hams, sewing machines, clothes and other needed items up to four times a year.
